Details of the Night Tour of Cartagena

This tour is not a tourist trap, but a memorable evening that my wife and I (Diana and Claude) did at least 300 times and enjoyed so much during our 5 years in Cartagena. Every year, during our visit to Cartagena, we never fail to repeat this tour.

During a period of 4 hours, so from 6h00 pm, you are transported by private vehicle from your hotel to the historic center where a carriage waiting for you to visit the centro. The beauty of the streets and balconies is amazing as is the atmosphere of the historic center.

It's like 500 years back!

Once this 30-minute ride is over, the carriage will drop you off at Plaza Santo Domingo for a magical evening. Lucho Colombia welcomes you to his terrace with a courtesy and kindness quite special, as if you knew him for years. It serves you a choice of liquor, juice, local beer or our preference, a coconut lemonade. Then comes the meal according to a choice of 3 specialties. A second drink is served according to the same choices as the first.

During your evening at Plaza Santo Domingo, you will see several folkloric shows, dancers from the village of Palenque and enjoyable activities. You will also like Vallenatos groups who will make you hear their traditional music as well as singers / musicians in trios or duos. Some vendors will offer you unforgettable souvenirs and products to complement your visit to Cartagena.
