Details of the Santa Marta and Tayrona Park private tour
This private tour includes the typical hotel with breakfast for one
night as well as a tour to Santa Marta and a 2 hour transportation
service to visit the Santa Marta and Tayrona area.
Day 1
This tour starts in Cartagena at 6h00 am with a stop at Galerazamba for
lunch or to see the Totumo Volcano or the Pink Sea (February or March).
You arrive in Santa Marta at 11h00 pm am and as the hotel is located
near the entrance to Tayrona Park, it is advisable to di rhight away
the Santa Marta City Tour, to visit the Quinta de San Pedro Alejandrino
($), to see the spectacular Taganga Bay and Rodadero Bay.
Around 2h00 pm, we bring you to your hotel which is in front of El
Zaino, which is the entrance to Tayrona Park. If you choose to spend
the evening at Rodadero, then we will transport you to this place to
enjoy your evening by the sea and eat on the lively boadwalk. You can
choose to spend your evening in Santa Marta which has many nice
restaurants and inviting terraces. Around 9h00 pm or according to your
convenience, we will take you back to your hotel.
Day 2
After your breakfast, around 8h00 am, we will transport you to the
entrance of Tayrona Park where you have the choice to visit the park
with us or without us. The tour at Tayrona Park is via the entrance
named El Zaino. You have to walk about 5 kilometers to get to Cañaveral
Beach then about an hour to Arrecifes Beach. Then you continue your
ecological walk along the sea and through the beaches of Arenilla, the
Piscina and finally Cabo San Juan del Guía. At this beautiful place you

Around 3h00 pm, you must leave Cabo San Juan to El Zaino because the

Day 3 (additional)
If you wish to spend an additional night, it will be entirely your
liberty considering that you will have additional expenses, because the
driver must sleep an additional night in Santa Marta and also lose a

Santa Marta
The tour starts in Santa Marta passing through the Rodadero district to
see this beautiful seaside resort and discover a panoramic view of

and know the forests of the park, enter by Calabazo.
Previously, from the entrance of Calabazo, you could reach Pueblito
Chairama, Playa Brava, Cabo San Juan and the other beaches of Zaino.
Today, it reaches only the Playa Brava. If you want to go to most
beaches, you must enter through El Zaino.
The third entrance to Tayrona National Park is via the Palangana area,
where you can reach the beaches of Neguanje, Gayraca and Playa del
Muerto or Playa Cristal. In this part of the park, you can not stay
overnight.
